Bartlett First Assembly of God was pioneered by Pastor Herbert Yandell in 1974.
He has since retired, and today we are held together by the remarkable staff you see below:
Dr. Gene and Heather Burgess(Senior Pastors)
Pastor Gene and Heather are two people driven by a passion to see others have a relationship with Jesus. That passion has taken them not only to all 50 states but also to over 120 countries in their 40 plus years of ministry. In 1999 God called them back home to the Memphis area to pastor Bartlett First Assembly. In the Burgess' time as pastors here we have had numerical growth as well as growth in a desire to reach people with the love of Christ, not only locally but worldwide. Email - Home Page
Johnny and Mallory Byrd (Student Pastors)Pastor Johnny and Mallory have a heart to see the next generation sold out to Christ. Johnny began as a Youth Ministry Intern in 2003, but since July, 2006 he and Mallory have been leading every area of ministry designed to reach teens. They are directly involved in reaching everyone from pre-school to college age. Email - Youth Site
Jason Inman(Childrens/Outreach Pastor)
Jason is a Bartlett native who,after completing Masters Commission, came on staff as a ministry intern in 2007. Since then Jason has moved on to be our full time Outreach Pastor. We have seen our bus ministry expand to from a 15 passenger van to now picking up over 75 people a week. He is also responsible for our boys ministry. Jason has a heart to see people saved and daily gives of himself to see that become a reality. Email - Outreach Site
